Overview
The EBX-2315 is the EBX family's dedicated electric-window and mirror controller for 24 V commercial-vehicle and heavy-truck cab harnesses. Where a full BCM such as the EBX-954 owns the whole body-electronics scope (lighting, HVAC, locking, windows, mirrors, multiple CAN buses), the EBX-2315 is the right tier when the program already has a separate BCM and just needs a small, hard-wired controller to drive the cab-door window motors, the central-locking actuators and the exterior-mirror motors / defoggers from one ECU on the door / column harness.
Electrically the module operates across an 18–32 VDC range with quiescent current < 3 mA. The build follows commercial-vehicle environmental and EMC standards: QC/T 413 (vehicle electrical equipment basic technical conditions), ISO 16750-1 (road-vehicle electrical & electronic equipment — environmental conditions and tests, Part 1) and ISO 7637 (road-vehicle electrical disturbances from conduction and coupling). Cosmetic finish is a black, fine-matte injection-moulded body with no sharp edges, sink marks or moulding defects on the visible surfaces.
Integrated functions
The EBX-2315 services five core function groups on the cab harness:
- Electric windows. Driver-side window up / down and co-driver-side window up / down drive, with driver-controlled co-driver window switch acquisition (driver-side master switch).
- Remote lock / unlock. Central-locking lock and unlock drive with the matching RKE-flash output channel (lamp-flash confirmation for remote-key actions); central-locking input from the in-cab switch.
- Door lock / unlock. Mechanical / hard-wired lock-switch and unlock-switch input acquisition driving the central-locking outputs.
- Mirror adjust. Left / right mirror selection input plus up / down / left / right adjustment inputs, drive outputs for the mirror motors (left mirror left-right + up-down, right mirror left-right + up-down, mirror-motor common return).
- Mirror heating. Mirror-defogger drive (200 mA reference; external relay for the actual heating load).
Engineering details
The EBX-2315 occupies a 196 × 180 mm footprint with a 36 mm overall height (including connector profile) and lands on the door / steering-column bracket via four M7 mounting bushings on the side ears. The harness interface is a single sealed 36-pin housing on the front edge — one connector lands every signal in and every drive out, so the harness designer only manages one mating cycle per cab.
- Single-housing harness footprint: all 26 inputs and 10 drive outputs land on one 36-pin sealed connector (programme-specific OEM internal P/N available on PPAP request) — one mating cycle, one harness drawing per cab
- 26-channel input bank: 4 window switches (driver and co-driver, up & down) + 2 driver-controlled co-driver window switches + 6 mirror-switch inputs (mirror select left / right plus 4-way adjust) + 1 mirror-defogger switch + lock / unlock / ignition inputs + reserved door / power-supply signals
- 10-channel drive output bank: 4 window drive outputs (driver and co-driver, up & down) + 6 mirror drive outputs (left / right mirror, 4-way drive + mirror-motor common + mirror-defogger 200 mA via external relay) + 2 central-locking drive outputs + 1 RKE-flash output
- Power-latch delay: configurable post-ignition-off retention window (reference profile 90 s glass-up / down and central-locking retention after KEY OFF; central-locking only beyond the window) — matches the typical commercial-vehicle "courtesy window" customer requirement
- Compliance: QC/T 413, ISO 16750-1, ISO 7637
- Working temperature −30 to +65 °C, storage temperature −40 to +75 °C — cab-mounted operational class
- Software and hardware versions are tracked through the customer data-management platform; component-ID label and version mark sit in reserved areas on the upper housing

Comparison with other Youlai window / BCM modules
The EBX family covers a wide range of body-electronics use cases. The EBX-2315 is the dedicated electric-window + mirror controller tier:
| Model | System | Pattern | I/O | Harness |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EBX-2315 | 24 V (18–32 VDC) | Dedicated window + mirror + central-locking controller | 26 in · 10 out | 1 × 36-pin sealed |
| EBX-952 | 24 V (18–32 VDC) | Compact central-control (locking / anti-theft / RKE) | ~10 in · 6 out | 1 × 20-pin AMP |
| EBX-954 | 24 V (18–32 VDC) | Full BCM (high I/O density) | 67 in · 45 out | 6 sealed (AMP) |
| EBX-953 | 24 V (18–32 VDC) | Full BCM + integrated fuse / relay | ~110 I/O | 9 sealed |
The EBX-2315 is the right choice when the program already has a separate BCM and needs a small, dedicated controller for the cab-door window / mirror / central-locking sub-system. For a one-box solution that covers locking + anti-theft + RKE in a compact form, look at EBX-952; for a full-scope BCM that absorbs the window / mirror function group, look at EBX-954 or EBX-953.
Manufacturing & testing
Built under IATF 16949 with APQP project planning and a PPAP package available for OEM programmes. Every unit is end-of-line functional-tested before packaging — quiescent current, the 26-channel input matrix, the 10-channel drive matrix, the bridge-drive mirror channels, the central-locking and RKE-flash outputs and the configurable post-ignition-off power-latch window are all checked. Environmental validation and EMC pre-compliance screening in our in-house lab follows the QC/T 413 / ISO 16750-1 / ISO 7637 protocols.
