Overview
As commercial-vehicle and new-energy cabs carry more onboard AC power — from an inverter or an auxiliary AC supply — the driver needs a proper socket to plug an appliance into: a kettle, a laptop charger, a work light or a hand tool on a service vehicle. The TDK-2308 and TDK-2515 are the in-cab AC convenience outlets that provide that socket. They are panel-mounted parts with a flame-retardant PC housing, a black matte finish and a hinged protective cover that keeps the contacts closed off when nothing is plugged in.
They are the same family in two regional plug standards. The TDK-2308 is the Korean-standard outlet marked AC 220 V; the TDK-2515 is the European-standard (Belgian / Type E) outlet at AC 230 V. Both terminate on a keyed automotive connector rather than loose mains wiring, so they land cleanly on a vehicle harness. A Japanese-standard variant, the TDK-2418, is catalogued and quoted per programme. TDK-2308 — Korean-standard AC outlet
The TDK-2308 is the Korean-standard socket. It is rated AC 220 V, moulded in flame-retardant PC with a black matte face, and fitted with a hinged cover rated for more than 10,000 open/close cycles so the socket can be closed off when it is not in use. Its lead terminates on an LS W0220WFB2L3P2RB_00 connector, which mates to the vehicle’s AC-supply harness. The face is marked with the AC-outlet symbol and the rated voltage; the unit carries a Max 330 W marking, while an earlier TDK-2308 dimension drawing specifies 300 W, so the continuous output rating for your build is confirmed per programme (see what Youlai supplies below). Its role is to present a covered mains-style socket that supplies AC power to onboard equipment.
TDK-2515 — European-standard AC outlet
The TDK-2515 is the Belgian-standard outlet — a Type E socket, the earthed continental-European pattern whose face carries line, neutral and an earth contact. It is rated AC 230 V, and the housing is laser-etched “AC230V / Max 330 W” rather than printed. It shares the family’s flame-retardant PC housing and black matte finish and the same hinged protective cover rated for more than 10,000 cycles. Behind the panel, Youlai brings out line and neutral on a JONHON EVH2D3-N2TK-RADA 2-pole connector on 3 mm² leads about 270 ± 15 mm long; the earth arrangement for the socket’s earth contact is set on the current drawing for your programme. Mechanically it is a square panel part: an 84 × 84 mm face cover over a 60 × 60 mm mounting pattern, 58.1 mm deep behind the panel. The laser-etched marking states Max 330 W; treat that as the marked figure and the continuous rating as confirmed per programme.

The two catalogued members — TDK-2308 and TDK-2515 — do the same job of presenting a covered AC socket on a cab panel, and differ in the plug standard and the connector behind them; the Japanese-standard TDK-2418 is a regional variant on request:

Pick the TDK-2308 for a Korean-standard socket, the TDK-2515 for a continental-European (Belgian / Type E) socket, and ask about the TDK-2418 when the destination market uses the Japanese plug pattern. Connector & wiring
Neither outlet is wired with loose mains conductors — each terminates on a keyed automotive connector so it drops onto the vehicle’s AC-supply harness. The TDK-2308 uses an LS W0220WFB2L3P2RB_00; the TDK-2515 brings its line and neutral out on a JONHON EVH2D3-N2TK-RADA 2-pole connector on 3 mm² leads about 270 ± 15 mm long.

These are flush panel parts: a square face bezel sits proud of the dash or console while the body seats behind it. For the TDK-2515 the published dimensions are an 84 × 84 mm face cover, a 60 × 60 mm mounting pattern and 58.1 mm of depth behind the panel — confirm the exact cut-out against the current drawing before you tool the panel. Both outlets carry a hinged protective cover that springs closed over the socket when nothing is plugged in; that cover is rated for more than 10,000 open/close cycles, which is the part of an in-cab outlet that gets the most wear.
What Youlai supplies
Youlai supplies the outlet — the panel socket, its cover and its harness connector — not the vehicle’s AC source. The AC power itself comes from an inverter or auxiliary AC supply elsewhere on the vehicle, and the socket’s continuous current and power capacity are governed by that supply and by the conductor sizing behind the panel. That is why these pages give the rated voltage (AC 220 V / AC 230 V) as a firm figure but treat maximum continuous power as confirmed per programme: tell us the appliance load you need to run and the source you are feeding it from, and we confirm the correct outlet and lead rating for that build. Because these are mains-voltage AC parts, the protective-earth path for the socket and the market-specific safety approval of the finished installation are settled up front as part of the programme — not left to the installer — so agree the earthing scheme with us before the panel is built.
Where they fit
The AC outlets belong to the Switches & Sensors family of cab panel hardware, alongside the dashboard switches and controls. Manufacturing & testing
The outlets are built under IATF 16949 with APQP project planning and a PPAP package available for OEM programmes. End-of-line testing follows the programme’s control plan — typically continuity and cover actuation — while cover endurance and environmental checks are validated on a sample basis in our in-house lab, and any dielectric / withstand or market-safety testing is run at an accredited laboratory when the programme requires it. Because these are AC parts, the earthing arrangement and the finished-installation safety scheme are agreed with the programme before build.

What is the difference between the TDK-2308 and the TDK-2515? They are the same in-cab AC outlet in two regional plug standards. Is the socket earthed? Does Youlai supply the inverter too? No — these parts are the outlet (socket, cover and harness connector). The AC supply comes from an inverter or auxiliary source elsewhere on the vehicle.
