Overview
The EBX-2313 is a pure-logic body control module engineered for light commercial-truck and light-duty machinery cabs. Unlike the larger EBX-953 that integrates a fuse / relay carrier inside the same housing, the EBX-2313 keeps the BCM logic compact and hands power switching back to an upstream power distribution box. The result is a small 138 × 170 mm cab-mount unit with a clean separation between body-control logic and high-current routing — the right architecture for light-truck programs that already have a separate PDB on the chassis.
The harness interface is the engineering centre of gravity. Five sealed connectors carry 100 pins total: three 12-pin output connectors (CON A / B / C) drive the lighting, locking, wiper, window and horn channels, and two 32-pin input connectors (CON D / E) read the body-side switches, door status, vehicle-network signals and the RKE antenna. CAN_H / CAN_L sit on CON D alongside LIN1 / LIN2; the external RKE antenna lands on CON E.
Integrated functions
The EBX-2313 covers the standard body-control function set for a light commercial-truck cab. Functional coverage is grouped by output domain:
- Interior & exterior lighting. Dome lamp, trunk lamp, door-courtesy lamp drive (CON A); turn signals (left / right), park / position lamp, brake lamp, rear fog lamp, back-light feedback (CON C).
- Central locking. Door lock / unlock outputs and trunk-unlock drive (CON A / B); door-lock-status feedback and tamper sensing read on the input side (CON D / E).
- Electric windows. Six window-motor drive outputs — front-left / front-right up & down on CON A, rear-right reserved up & down on CON B; rear-left / rear-right window-switch reads on CON D.
- Wiper & washer. Wiper LOW / HIGH drive outputs and front / rear washer drive (CON B / C); wiper intermittent / low-speed / high-speed and park-stop signal reads on CON E.
- Horn & signal. Horn drive (CON B), with horn switch and hazard switch reads on CON E.
- Vehicle network & RKE. CAN bus (CAN_H / CAN_L on CON D) for inter-controller communication; two LIN buses (LIN1 / LIN2 on CON D) for sub-network communication (electric-window / mirror-fold sub-buses are typical allocations); external RKE antenna pin on CON E for remote keyless entry.
Engineering details
The EBX-2313 fits a 138 × 170 mm rectangular envelope with five connectors arranged on three sides of the housing — three on the top edge (CON A / B / C in a 12P-12P-12P arrangement), two on the bottom edge (CON D / E in a 32P-32P arrangement). A 130.1 × 38 mm label area on the housing top is reserved for program-specific labelling. The housing material is PP-GF20 (polypropylene + 20% glass fibre), suitable for cab-interior temperature swing.
- Pure-logic BCM — no integrated fuse / relay carrier; upstream fuse / relay routing handled by the customer's power distribution box
- 5-connector / 100-pin harness interface: 3 × 12P output side (CON A / B / C) + 2 × 32P input side (CON D / E)
- 1 CAN bus + 2 LIN buses on CON D — bus protocol family confirmed per program (J1939 family commonly used on commercial-vehicle networks); LIN1 / LIN2 allocation specified per program (electric-window and mirror-fold sub-networks are typical)
- External RKE antenna interface on CON E pin 32 — remote-key frequency, modulation and security pairing confirmed per program
- Reserved-input map (entries marked as reserved on the source PIN tables) gives the program room to add late-stage features without rev'ing the housing
- PP-GF20 housing typical for cab-mount placement; chassis-mount or wash-down service should specify a sealed-connector variant at quotation

Mating connectors
Current-production EBX-2313 housings include 5 OEM-grade automotive connectors, all from the Tyco/AMP families. The reference P/N below documents the connectors on the current production build; the matching wire-side seals, terminal P/N and harness colour code are confirmed against the customer harness drawing at quotation.
| ID | Position | Pin count | Reference P/N | Brand |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | Top edge, output | 12P | 284159-1 | Tyco/AMP |
| B | Top edge, output | 12P | 284159-3 | Tyco/AMP |
| C | Top edge, output | 12P | 368542-1 | Tyco/AMP |
| D | Bottom edge, input | 32P | 2050723-2 | Tyco/AMP |
| E | Bottom edge, input | 32P | 2020723-1 | Tyco/AMP |
I/O reference (CON A – E)
The five figures below document the full pin-level I/O reference for the current production build. Each connector figure shows pin number, signal name (English mnemonic plus Chinese definition), I/O direction and active level. Use these as the engineering reference; programme-specific signal allocation and active-level inversion are confirmed against the customer harness drawing at quotation.
Comparison with other Youlai BCM modules
The EBX BCM family covers two main architectural patterns — pure-logic BCM versus BCM with integrated fuse / relay carrier — and two main voltage classes:
| Model | Pattern | Voltage class | Harness | Footprint | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EBX-2313 | Pure-logic BCM | 12 V or 24 V (per program) | 5 conn / 100 PIN | 138 × 170 mm | Light commercial truck cab |
| EBX-953 | BCM + integrated fuse/relay | 24 V (18–32 VDC) | 9 conn / ~145 PIN | 285.8 × 159.8 mm | Heavy truck (one box on harness) |
| EBX-2305 | Pure-logic BCM + integrated 433.92 MHz RKE/PKE | 12 V (9–16 VDC) | 3 conn / ~120 PIN (J1/J2/J3) | Compact new-energy class | New-energy vehicle smart-key BCM |
The EBX-2313 is the right choice when a light commercial-truck program already has its own power distribution box and only needs the BCM logic on a compact cab-mount footprint. For a heavy-truck program that wants one box covering both BCM logic and fuse / relay routing, the EBX-953 is the closer match. For a new-energy commercial vehicle with on-module RKE / PKE smart-key, the EBX-2305 is the closer match.
Manufacturing & testing
Built under IATF 16949 with APQP project planning and a PPAP package available for OEM programmes. Every unit is end-of-line functional-tested before packaging — CAN / LIN bus health, current draw and the full lighting / locking / window / wiper / horn output matrix are checked against the production test plan. Environmental validation and EMC pre-compliance screening in our in-house lab is run when the programme requires it.
