What this page is
For OEM teams sourcing a heavy-truck BCM supplier in China, this page covers the body control modules we make, how they are built and validated, who we make them for, and how to get drawings, samples and a quotation moving in 24 hours — modules quoted against an OEM specification rather than shipped as a fixed catalogue part.
If you are evaluating Chinese sources for a commercial-vehicle body-electronics program, the information below is the same set we provide to engineering teams during early-stage supplier qualification. For the engineering background — what a BCM controls and how to write the specification — see the heavy-truck BCM buyer guide.
Who Youlai is
Changsha Youlai Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is an IATF 16949 certified OEM electronics manufacturer based in Changsha, Hunan, China. Since 2014 we have supplied vehicle electronics — body control modules, power distribution, switching, sensors, displays — to leading Chinese commercial-vehicle and construction-machinery OEMs including SANY, XCMG, ZOOMLION, SINOTRUK, Shaanxi Heavy Truck, YUTONG, FOTON and BYD.
Our manufacturing footprint is 3 SMT automated lines, 1 THT automated flow line and 4 standard assembly lines, supported by an in-house environmental laboratory with EMC pre-compliance equipment. The quality system is certified to IATF 16949, with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 alongside.
What we make in Body Control
The EBX family covers the body-electrics brain of a commercial vehicle, from heavy-truck 24 V architectures down to 12 V light-commercial cabs. Every model below is a published, project-owned platform we build to OEM specification:
- Full-scope heavy-truck BCM — EBX‑954 (24 V pure-logic, 145-pin) and EBX‑953 (24 V with integrated fuse / relay) handle lighting, wipers, doors, windows, central locking, anti-pinch and the body-side CAN gateway functions.
- Configurable and compact BCM — EBX‑2510 (24 V with configurable analog inputs) and EBX‑952 (24 V compact central control with RKE / app remote) for programs with a smaller pin count or a remote-entry requirement.
- Electric and light-commercial BCM — EBX‑2305 (12 V electric-vehicle BCM with RKE / PKE) for electric, hybrid and light-commercial cabs.
- Passive Entry / Passive Start (PEPS) & keyless-entry stack — EBX‑2169 (12 V BCM with integrated PEPS, 178-pin) and EBX‑964 (24 V PEPS core controller) for programs that want passive entry / push-to-start baked in.
- Specialty body controllers — single-function modules that sit behind a full harness: EBX‑2162 wiper, EBX‑2163 door & window, EBX‑2164 light, EBX‑2206 anti-pinch and EBX‑2315 window & mirror.
The full Smart Control Modules catalogue — including VCU, PMU and T-BOX — is on the Smart Control Modules overview page.
How we work with overseas OEM buyers
- Briefing. Share target vehicle / platform, expected annual volume, working voltage (12 V / 24 V), pin count, the function list the BCM owns, communication protocol (CAN 2.0 / CAN-FD / J1939), diagnostics (UDS / ISO 15765), IP rating, temperature range and connector preference.
- Selection or custom. We propose the closest standard EBX model. If your program needs a different I/O mix, pin count, software load or sealing, we quote a custom variant on the same EBX platform rather than starting from zero.
- Software ownership. We agree early on who writes the application logic and who owns the bus matrix — a configurable platform load or a fully custom load. This single decision drives lead time more than any hardware line item.
- Sample & validation. Engineering samples for standard variants, with validation supported by our in-house environmental lab and EMC pre-compliance.
- Mass production. SMT / THT automated lines, in-process inspection, end-of-line functional test and traceable batch records, with a drawing package, BOM and IATF documentation on handoff. Region-specific approvals (e-Mark / ECE, SASO, FCC / DOT) available upon project requirement.
Why OEMs choose us as their China BCM partner
- Engineering-led, not catalogue-only. Every EBX model is a project we own end-to-end, from PCB design through harness validation. Custom variants are routine, not an exception.
- Protocol depth. J1939, CAN-FD, LIN and UDS are routine across the EBX line — see how a BCM sits on the bus in the heavy-truck BCM guide, and how it divides work with the VCU and PMU.
- Full product-family coverage. Buyers consolidating the electronics side of a program get body control, power distribution, switches and sensors, displays and HUD from one supplier — see the four product families.
- Sealing for chassis and off-road placement. Where a module mounts outside the cab, the design rationale behind IP65 / IP67 enclosures is documented, not assumed.
- Direct contact. No call centres, no CRM bots — sales mobile +86 134 6767 4786, also on WhatsApp.
